Olive Tiger - Latest Tracks
Some sweet home recordings from Olive Tiger. One track, "Lament" ("I wanted to love you and give you all of me, but it was too late. The night you left, I thought I'd go blind from tears, but it was too late.") kind of sad stuff but sincerely heart-felt material from a member of Kindred Queer.
From Soundcloud:
In early 2013, Olive Tiger emerged blinking from the ashes of Tallahassee-based gypsy folk group Two Live Tigers, when all members of said group found themselves in different corners of the USA. Confused and lonesome, Olive returned to her home state of CT and was promptly buried under three feet of snow. The resulting insanity gave birth to a new direction for Olive Tiger (moniker of singer-songwriter Shannon Kiley), incorporating vast expanses of sound linking influences from Andrew Bird, tUnE-yArDs, and Joanna Newsom. Combining cello, guitar, and voice often with a loop pedal, Olive currently sails to new territories while she works on her debut album.
