One of the most awesome things about New Haven is the Ideat Village festival, which is not coincidentally timed to when the Arts and Ideas festival occurs. As a response to the exclusion of local artists from the festival, organizer Bill Saunders and Nancy from Fashionista have come up with the time-tested solution to the age-old problem: Do it yourself.
